My daughter was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum within the last year, after years of searching for an answer for her issues.
I’ll keep this brief, but I am hoping that this testimonial may help other parents out there that may also be going through the same thing that I went through. I knew from the start that my daughter was different from other children. She had many issues as a baby, and those only seemed to blossom after she started school, at 3. She was extremely advanced for her age, and eventually tested off the charts in many areas, but had many, many areas of her life that she struggled with.
Despite soaking in everything at school like a sponge, she was very disruptive in school, and caused many painful meetings with school officials. After years of “fighting” with the school, numerous educational testing sessions, doctor’s visits, specialist evaluations, and psychological testing, she was finally diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum.
Although this finally provided us with answers, we still didn’t get much in the line of help with her “symptoms.” There are no “pills” for autistic individuals; only medications for the accompanying symptoms, such as depression, OCD, anxiety, and so forth. There is no drug, prescription or otherwise, that will ever “treat” her autism, but there are a ton of medications I could have put her on to help with the secondary diagnosis that accompanied autism, that I mentioned before. I wasn’t interested in “medicating” my daughter. So she continued to suffer with anxiety, tactile disturbances, depression stemming from bullying, obsessions, and the feeling that she is just different from other people.
Then I was told about QSciences, and the supplement that they were going to be backing, and distributing. I did my research, and became very intrigued. I read all the available studies that I could find at the time, and browsed the website available to me at the time, and then my step mother brought me home the sample from Seattle. Because I am as over protective as a mother can be, I did a little more research into the ingredients in the Q96 product. I felt I owed it to my daughter to try it, as there was nothing in the ingredients that could hurt her, so I thought why not and I’m glad I did.
It took about a week and a half, but I did see improvements in her overall calmness. Usually, when it comes to medical issues (that is an obsession of hers; diseases), she gets extremely anxious and fearful that something dreadful is going to happen if one of her family members becomes ill. As it turned out, I had to have surgery around the same time. I was dreading telling my daughter, as usually this would cause a meltdown, and hours of trying to convince her that I would be okay. It never happened. I was able to tell her about the surgery, have the surgery, get an infection afterwards, all while my daughter stayed calm! I was astounded. She was able to talk to me about everything going on, and there was zero anxiety! Her obsessions calmed way down, and she spent days just hanging out with me, when previously, she would just stay in her room. And other people noticed the difference in her as well. Her grandfather was floored by her change. She always had difficulties being around him, and talking with him (part of her Autism traits is not being able to bond with people). She began to play with him, and he was able to hold her and tickle her, when previously, she would get anxious, and sometimes physical about his attempts at playing with her.

I give full permission to share my story with others. Parents of other Autistic children need to hear this story. It just may make their lives a little easier. My daughter will never be cured, but Q96 most definitely improved her quality of life, therefor improving mine! To all the practitioners and management involved in QSciences, know that you have one very impressed and satisfied mother in your ranks. I plan to share my story with anyone willing to listen. Micronutrients versus standard medication management in autism: a naturalistic case–control study.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is often accompanied by self-injurious behavior (SIB), aggression, and tantrums, symptoms that have reportedly improved with micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) treatment. The current study took advantage of naturally‐occurring differences in parental preferences for treatment approaches. The Micronutrient Group asked for treatment without pharmaceuticals (n = 44, aged 2-28 yrs at entry (M = 8.39, + 5.58)). Their records were matched with those of 44 similar children whose families requested conventional treatment (Medication Group). Both groups improved on both the Childhood Autism Rating Scale and the Childhood Psychiatric Rating Scale (all p’s < 0.0001). Both groups also exhibited significant decreases in total Aberrant Behavior Checklist scores, but the Micronutrient Group’s improvement was significantly greater, p < 0.0001. SIB Intensity was lower in the Micronutrient Group at the end of the study (p = 0.005), and improvement on Clinical Global Impressions was greater for the Micronutrient Group, p = 0.0029. It is difficult to determine whether the observed changes were exerted through improvement in mood disorder or through an independent effect on autistic disorder. There were some advantages to treatment with micronutrients: lower activity level, less social withdrawal, less anger, better spontaneity with the examiner, less irritability, lower intensity SIB, markedly fewer adverse events, and less weight gain. Advantages of medication management were insurance coverage, fewer pills, and less frequent dosing.
